BeatVault Music Player (Android) · Last updated 7 October 2026
BeatVault Music Player ("the app") is made by Shaka D. This policy explains what the app does with your information.
What the app accesses
- Audio files on your device. With your permission, the app reads the music files in the folders you choose so it can play them. It also reads their tags (such as title, artist, album, genre, BPM, year and artwork).
- Your library settings. Your playlists, liked songs and folder choices are saved on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not collect, upload, sell or share your personal data or your music. Everything stays on your device. The app has no account sign-up, no advertising and no analytics.
Permissions
The app asks for access to your audio files or chosen folders, and permission to keep playing music in the background and show media controls. You can withdraw these permissions at any time in Android Settings.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored. You can also clear the app's data in Android Settings → Apps → BeatVault.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
